#RotimaticChef – Terms & Conditions for Contest

The following terms govern #RotimaticChef Contest (“Contest”) which is hosted by Zimplistic Pte Ltd (“Rotimatic”) and any person who wishes to participate in the Contest agrees to abide with and bound by these rules.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

Rotimatic reserves the right to seek from proof of age and/or nationality and any other information, detail etc. from the participants

  • Contest is open to participants residing in Singapore, the U.S.A, the U.K., Canada and Australia only
  • Participant to be above the age of 18 years 
  • The participant is required to have a valid and active Facebook account
  • Participants must own a Rotimatic
  • Participant must be a part of the Rotimatic Owners Group on Facebook (participants can become a member and then participate)
  • The participant must own a Rotimatic & be part of the Rotimatic Owners Group on Facebook. Rotimatic reserves the right to ask for the order id & profile to check the eligibility
  • The participant is required to have a valid and active Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

The contest is divided into two stages:

Stage 1: Become a part of the first ever recipe book – ROTIMATICLIFE (Volume 1) which will be shared with Rotimatic Owners

  • Get creative and show us your inner chef
  • Share images of your creativity on the Rotimatic Owners Group on Facebook. Hashtag #RotimaticChef and #RotimaticLife 
  • Top 15 recipes will be featured in the first edition of ROTIMATICLIFE – A recipe book created by Rotimatic owners

What are we looking for?

  • We want to bring out your inner chef. So, get creative!
  • Show us how Rotimatic is a part of your Diwali celebrations
  • Click a picture of your food creation with the Rotimatic in the background
  • Show us your photography skills too (The picture you click will become a part of the recipe book so make it look beautiful)

Do make a note of the following:

  • Stage 1 starts on 15 October 2017 and ends on 22 October 2017
  • 15 winners will be announced on 18 October 2017
  • The 15 winners will then move on to Stage 2

Stage 2:  Take home a Rotimatic

  • Shortlisted recipes will be showcased on the Facebook & Instagram Page of Rotimatic
  • Recipes will be open for voting
  • Recipe with the maximum share/likes/comments will be selected as winner
    The shortlisted candidates to get maximum votes (Likes/Shares) on their recipes! Don’t forget to ask your friends to like our page

What are we looking for?

  • Get your friends talking about your creation
  • Don’t forget them to ask to like the Rotimatic Page
  • Get social, get your recipe popular!

Do make note of the following:

  • Stage 2 starts on 25 October 2017, 10:00 Hrs Singapore Standard Time (SGT)and ends on 1 November 2017, 10:00 Hrs Singapore Standard Time (SGT)
  • Winner will be announced on 5 November 2017 on Rotimatic’s Social Media assets
  • All shortlisted recipes will be featured in the first ever Rotimatic recipe book ROTIMATICLIFE Volume 1

SUPPLEMENTARY RULES

  • The information shared on the social media platform will be subject to the respective Social Media website’s Privacy Policy
  • The Participants agree and permit Rotimatic to use their name, image, likeness, any other personal detail provided and publish their details in any medium to promote/advertise the Contents any other promotions, contents etc. which may be run by Rotimatic
  • The product will be delivered only in Singapore, UK, Canada, Australia, & United States of America. The product will be shipped in the November batch of delivery
  • By participating into the Contest, the Participant hereby warrants that all information submitted by Participant is true, accurate and complete to the best of his knowledge
  • Rotimatic reserves the right to verify any information provided by the participant at any time and in case the information provided by the participant found to be incorrect whatsoever the case may be
  • Rotimatic reserves the right to cancel participation or restrict from further participating in the Contest, as the case may be
  • The obligation on Rotimatic to provide the Prize to the winner(s) of the Contest is subject to the participant(s)/winner(s) adhering to the terms of the Contest and sending the details (address) within 5 days of the announcement of the winner
  • The answers submitted by the participant must not contain material which is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libellous as the case may be
  • Each participant acknowledges and agrees that other participants may have used ideas and/or concepts in their submission that may be similar in idea or concept to what is included in other Participant’s submission. Each Participant understands and agrees that he/she shall not have any claim against any other Participant or Rotimatic arising out of any such similarity or be entitled to any compensation because of any such similarity
  • The Participants are free to opt out of the Contest at any point in time
  • Participant undertakes and confirms that his/her contributions/submissions are original and does not infringe any rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity and/or any other intellectual property right. Rotimatic shall become the proprietor of all intellectual property rights vested in the submission by the Participant. Rotimatic shall also have all rights to use, reproduce, publish, display, transmit, copy, amend, store, sell and sub-license the contents of your submission worldwide for all practical purposes including promoting the Contest. Rotimatic will have the right to use any personal information, subject to its privacy policy, that you would provide as part of your submission for the purposes of the competition and for marketing purposes including the distribution of regular email updates or newsletters and you consent to the same by participating in this competition
  • Rotimatic will select the winner based on terms of this Contest. In case if the winner cannot be contacted at the email address provided by him/her at the link given or does not claim the Prize. In such case Rotimatic reserves the right to cancel the Prize of such winner. The winning participants must provide the details within 5 days of announcement of prize– post which the prize would be nullified
  • Upon Rotimatic providing the Prize to the winner as per these Contest rules, no further liability shall be held against Rotimatic its director, officers, employees or agents
  • To the maximum extent permitted under law, the participant to this Contest releases and forever discharges Rotimatic and agrees to indemnify Rotimatic, its director, officers, employees or agents from any losses, damages, actions, claims, demands of any sort whatsoever arising from or related to this Contest, including but not limited to third party intellectual property rights infringement claims with respect to content submitted by the Participant
  • The winner(s) of the Contest shall be liable to bear any tax which may liable to be paid in respect of the Prize. Rotimatic shall not be liable for payment of any tax on the Prize
  • The Contest is governed by the laws of Singapore and shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Singapore
  • Participant(s) who win the Contest cannot transfer, assign, or redeem the Prize for cash
  • In case of any disputes, differences etc. in relation to the Contest, the decision of Rotimatic shall be final. Rotimatic reserves the right that it may during any time in its sole discretion, change/amend/modify/add/delete any rules governing the Content without prior notice to any participant. Rotimatic its sole discretion may also suspend or revoke or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice to any participant
