Zimplistic is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to our product (“Product”), our websites, including www.rotimatic.com, our preorder page/online store, our help center, our community page, (collectively, the “Websites”) and the Rotimatic mobile application (the “App”). This statement governs our data collection, processing and usage practices. By using the Product, the Websites and the App, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time-to-time by posting a new version online. You should check this page occasionally to review any changes. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on our Websites. Your continued use of the Product, the Websites, the App and/or continued provision of Personal Information to us will be subject to the terms of the then-current Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

– When you register on the community page, preorder a product, download the App, register for updates or information, contact us or participate in an online survey, we may collect a variety of information, including your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences, and credit card information.

– When you share your content with family and friends, send/ gift products, or invite others to participate in Zimplistic events, services or forums, Zimplistic may collect the information you provide about those people such as name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. Zimplistic will use such information to fulfill your requests, provide the relevant product or service, or for anti-fraud purposes.

– In the U.S., we may ask for a government issued ID in limited circumstances including when setting up a wireless account and activating your appliance as required by law.

You are free to explore the Websites without providing any personal information about yourself. When you visit the Websites or register for our store, our forums, we request that you provide Personal Information about yourself, and we collect Navigational Information.

Personal Information

“Personal Information” means any information that you voluntarily submit to us and that identifies you personally, including contact information, such as your name, e-mail address, company name, address, phone number, and other information about yourself or your business. Personal Information can also include information about any transactions, both free and paid, that you enter into on the App or the Websites.

The Websites are not intended for or targeted at children under 13, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect information about children under 13. Data Collection

During installation of the Product and roti making, Zimplistic software may collect diagnostic information regarding your use of the Rotimatic in order to help our engineers improve Zimplistic’s products. You agree that Zimplistic may collect, maintain, and use information about the operation of the Rotimatic, such as serial numbers, number of rotis made, operating levels etc.

How We Use Information We Collect

We use the information we collect only in compliance with this Privacy Policy.  We use your data to provide you with the best experience possible and to improve and protect the Zimplistic services. Some examples of how we use your data:

– Contact information is used to send you notifications, inform you about new features or products we think you would be interested.

– Data and logs are used in research to understand and improve the Zimplistic products, to troubleshoot , to detect and protect against error, fraud or other criminal activity, and to enforce Zimplistic Terms of Sale.

– De-identified data that does not identify you may be used for marketing and promotional use, or for sale to interested audiences.

We Never Sell Personal Information

We will never sell your Personal Information to any third party.

Use of Personal Information

In addition to the uses identified elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may use your Personal Information to: (a) improve your browsing experience by personalizing the Websites or the App (b) send information (other than marketing communications) which we think may be of interest to you or that your have opted into receiving by post, email, or other means this information includes notifications by phone or email of Rotimatic specific information; and (c) send you marketing communications relating to our business or the businesses of carefully-selected third parties which we think may be of interest to you.

Use of De-Identified Information

Zimplistic may provide other companies with statistical information or research reports about our users – but this information will not be used to identify any individual user. In addition, we may share data with trusted partners to contact you based on your interest to receive such communications, help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support. Such third parties are prohibited from using your Personal Information except for these purposes, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Use of Rotimatic specific information

In addition to the uses identified elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may use Rotimatic information to: (a) make adjustments to the roti making process; (b) identify common failure modes; and (c) monitor customer satisfaction.

Use of Navigational Information

We use Navigational Information to operate and improve the Websites. We may also use Navigational Information alone or in combination with Personal Information to provide you with personalized information and geographically specific information about your Rotimatic.

Customer Testimonials and Comments

We post customer testimonials and comments on our Websites, which may contain Personal Information. We obtain each customer’s consent via email prior to posting the customer’s name and testimonial.

Use of Credit Card Information

If you give us credit card information, we use it solely to collect payment from you and make refunds to you. We use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use information you provide except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on our behalf.

Service Providers

We employ other companies and people to provide services to visitors to our Websites and our customers on our behalf and may need to share your information with them to provide information, products or better services to you. Examples may include managing potential customers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. Our Websites include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the “Share This” button or interactive mini-programs that run on our sites. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our sites, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Websites. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the Privacy Policy of the companies providing them.

Our provision of such links does not constitute our endorsement of these other websites, their content, their owners, or their practices. We may offer publicly accessible message boards, blogs, and community forums. Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose any information through our public message boards, blogs, or forums, this information may be collected and used by others.

Retention of Personal Information

We retain Personal Information that you provide us as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about our company, products or services. We retain information about our customers for as long as we need it to provide service to the customer. We will delete this information from our servers at an earlier date if you so request, .

To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer and access Personal Information from around the world, including Singapore and the United States. Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails and emails concerning changes to our terms of sale and policies related to their account with us.
