Zimplistic was founded by Pranoti Nagarkar and Rishi Israni in 2008 with the belief that cutting edge technology needs to be used to the best of its ability to make healthy homemade food accessible to everyone, anywhere in the world. A belief that led to the invention of Rotimatic - the world's first IoT & AI enabled flatbread making kitchen robot.

I know, I have experienced, that simple is complex, through a difficult yet fulfilling many years building a complex piece of metal, making it human enough to make fully puffed hassle free flatbreads, ready to eat. Rotimatic-the world's first-ever Al and IOT enabled flatbread making robot.
8 years of R&D and 37 patents later, we created a smart kitchen device that can mimic a very complex human task and give you instant and fresh flatbreads in 90 seconds.
But more importantly, what it has taught me is, that, simple is beautiful. We all have to strive for it. Persevere, stay the course, no matter what.
Other than trying to make kitchens autonomous one roti at a time, one solution at a time, I have two sons, who keep me marvelled and happy all the time! I also love to spend time reading and studying subjects about human mind, body and the connect.
Rishi Israni
Rishi is one of those rare leaders who are equal parts technologists and equal parts businessmen. Prior to coming onboard Zimplistic, Rishi was the co-founder & CTO of tenCube, a mobile security software company acquired by Intel. As an extremely hands on CTO, Rishi has steered Zimplistic from its early R&D days to its flagship product Rotimatic becoming a household name in over 58 countries.
A futurist at heart, he is adept at bringing technologies and multi-disciplinary teams together to create products that skip innovation curves. Rishi views robotics with a long-term lens and is a passionate believer in its potential to revolutionize kitchens for the next generation.
